Scott Troxel was an absolute pleasure to work with. Being local for many years, Scott was able to help my wife and I purchase our first home and identify the best area for us to raise a family. As first-time home buyers, in the beginning, we reached out to several real estate agents in order to determine our compatibility. We ended up choosing to work with Scott because of his professionalism and knowledge. Not only that, but Scott also never made us feel pressured to work with him or move forward on a house we were unsure of, which established a foundation of trust in our working relationship. This aspect was very important to us because we wanted our experience to be enjoyable and not feel like we were an opportunity for a transaction.
Soon after we started our home search, so did the COVID-19 pandemic. This public health crisis created new obstacles for everyone, including strict regulations for viewing properties. We also encountered historically low-interest rates for mortgages, which created an extremely competitive buying market. Buying your first home is already challenging, but these two obstacles made us even more overwhelmed. All of this is to say that Scott navigated us through these uncertain times step-by-step and always with a positive attitude. We viewed numerous houses and bid on a handful in which our offer was rejected. Nevertheless, through these disappointments Scott remained at our side hopeful, upbeat, and continued to diligently work on landing our home.
After several months, our offer was finally accepted, and we couldn’t be happier with our new home! During the entire process, Scott was readily accessible by email and phone. He never hesitated to help us and address our every concern. Believe me, my partner and I are both scientists, so we like to ask a lot of thorough questions; but Scott was always patient and answered everything and more. All in all, Scott is not only a wonderful real estate agent but a great person. We enjoyed our home buying process due to his expertise and humor. We miss working with Scott but continue to remain in touch and will definitely be reaching out if we ever decide to sell our home. I had the pleasure of working with Scott. We found a home rather quickly but Scott was available for my many questions.
Where I was highly impressed with Scott was during settlement. Items and such were promised to me and pulled back at settlement. Scott never gave up. Never lost his cool. Always had my back. I wanted to walk away from the deal at how I was treated by the buyer and I’d it weren’t for Scott and his tenancies I would have.
